About Me: Authentic Support Without the Fluff

Starting therapy is a big step, and finding the right person to talk to shouldn't feel like a chore. If you’re looking for a therapist who is direct, down-to-earth, and skips the clinical jargon, you’re in the right place.

My Approach

I believe in getting straight to the point. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring expertise to the table, but I don't believe therapy has to be stuffy or overly formal. My style is "no fluff"—we focus on what’s actually happening in your life and how to move through it.

I know that life in Oklahoma comes with its own unique set of challenges, from navigating major life transitions to simply surviving the latest "wind tunnel" season. I aim to provide a space where you can be yourself, share a laugh, and get the support you need to feel grounded again.

A Little More About Me

Before opening Pirtle Counseling LLC, my path was a bit different than your average therapist.

  • Military Background: I served as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force, including time overseas for Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Managing a vehicle maintenance shop taught me the core values of integrity, excellence, and resilience. I bring that same mission-focused, clear communication into every session today.

  • Local Roots: I am proud to serve Kingfisher, Loyal, Omega, Watonga, Dover, Hennessey, Okarche, Hitchcock, and our surrounding Oklahoma communities. I understand the values and the pace of life here because I live it, too.

  • Commitment to You: My goal is to make quality mental health care accessible and straightforward. Whether you are dealing with a major life change or just feel stuck, I’m here to help you navigate the "why" and focus on the "how" of moving forward.

Ready to get started?

If you’re looking for someone who values your time and speaks your language, I’d love to connect. I keep my practice simple and focused on what matters: helping you find your footing.
